    Preliminary information

Prima di enter the dettaglio della procedura su how to see the durability of objects in minecraft, I think you might be interested in learning more about this statistic.

Well, durability affects how much you can use the items in Minecraft's Survival mode. Put simply, after using a tool or anweapon, the object wears out and a new unit must be created.

from hoe al pickaxe, passing through the sword: all objects of this type have a certain duration. The latter varies depending on the material in which you have decided to build the object. The materials from best to worst, in terms of durability, are as follows: netherite, Diamond, iron, Stone, wood e gold.

In short, it is good to keep in mind the mechanics of durability if you want to play Minecraft in Survival mode, since otherwise you could get to know it in a way that is not exactly pleasant from a gameplay point of view.

This tutorial is therefore here to explain how to keep an eye on this statistic, so that you know when it will be necessary to build a new object of that type in order to continue as it should in your adventure.

How to see the durability of objects in Minecraft

After explaining how item durability works in Minecraft, I'd say it's time to take action and figure out how to keep an eye on this stat. Below you will find all the relevant information regarding the Java versions for PC and Bedrock for mobile devices, Windows 10 and consoles.

    Minecraft Java Edition

The edition Java for Minecraft PC it is very popular and you may therefore want to learn how to do the operation from it.

In reality it's all very simple: once you start any game in mode Survival, for example by going to the path Single player> Create a new world, you just have to pick it up a tool or weapon and use it against any block.

By doing so, at the bottom, inside the box of the object present in thequick inventory, a will appear green bar. The latter represents the durability of the object: when it reaches zero you will no longer be able to use it.

If, on the other hand, you want to get more detailed information about durability, you have to press the keys at the same time F3 e H keyboard. If you use MacOS, you may need to follow my guide on how to use function keys without pressing Fn on Mac by ticking the box Use the F1, F2, etc. keys. as standard function keys. By doing so, you will activate the advanced tooltips, or more precise information relating to the game.

After that, press the button E of the keyboard, in order to enter theInventory, and hover the mouse cursor over theobject icon involved. This way, you will see the statistic of durability.

By doing this, you can more accurately keep an eye on how long a certain object lasts, perhaps by carrying out tests to understand how much the destruction of a block affects the durability.

    Minecraft Bedrock Edition

How do you say? You usually play Minecraft in his Bedrock version, that is the one available for Windows 10, mobile devices and consoles, and would you like to know how to see the durability of objects in the latter? No problem: I'll tell you how to do it right away!

In this case, you need to know that advanced tooltips cannot be used that players have learned about with the Java PC version of Minecraft. This means that the only option available remains to look at the green bars that appear in thequick inventory as soon as you destroy a cube with a tool or a weapon.

I know: having concrete information available is not the same as having a green bar, but I can assure you that in reality after some time you will learn about and get used to this mechanic of weapon durability.

If you have just started playing Minecraft, I invite you to take a look at the preliminary chapter, where I explained what the more solid materials to build tools and weapons.

For the rest, since you are a fan of the Mojang title, I would advise you to take a look at the page of my site dedicated to Minecraft, where you can find many other tutorials that could be for you.
