In any case, once you get a bucket, you can "catch" the fish simply by going to a stream, filling the secchio d'acqua and interacting with i fish while you have the latter in your hand. You can catch practically any fish and you will get, for example, the item bucket with puffer fish.
The latter will allow you to place the fish inside theaquarium, getting it out of the bucket, without too much trouble. In short, "catching" fish in Minecraft is possible.
As far as the 'aquarium in itself, in fact i materials required are not many. Just get yourself some blocks of any kind to create a Wall, bottle (are created with 6 axis units) he was born in glass to close the aquarium. How to make an aquarium in Minecraft
After explaining the possibilities offered by the game, I would say that it is time to take action and create an aquarium in Minecraft.
To proceed, make a Wall with any type of block. I advise you to do this 6 x 6, with thickness of 2 blocks.
Now, break 4 blocks placed centrally, in order to create a "hole".
Position, dunque, 4 blocks above the ground, 2 "inside" of the hole e 2 outside.
At this point, take some bottle and place them around the outer blocks you just placed.
After that, place gods glass panels on the sides and in front of the front blocks.
Now, take the bucket (I explained how to make it in the previous chapter), fill it with any River and use it for fill the aquarium with water. The hatches should "hold" the water.
After that, refill the bucket of water (in Survival mode, just use it in a water source) and find a River where there are gods fish.

Come back, therefore, to yours aquarium and place the fish inside. Perfect, now you can use the bucket again to catch more fish (of course you still have to fill it with water) and that's it.
Once you've caught the fish and put in the right items to beautify the aquarium, you can "Close" the top with the bottle. You now have your own aquarium in Minecraft!
How to create a well designed aquarium in Minecraft
How do you say? The aquarium design that I have illustrated to you does not convince you completely? No problem, I'll immediately explain how to embellish it properly, obviously starting from the base that I explained to you how to create in the previous chapter.
The first thing you may want to do is remove the glass panels, which "protrude" perhaps a little too much from the structure. Instead, you might think about using gods invisible blocks.
In this case, you have to use the command / give [username] minecraft: barrier (in the Java edition of Minecraft) or / give [username] barrier (in the Bedrock version).
Replacing the glass panels with the object Barrier, you will get gods blocks that are not seen, but I remind you that you are still using "tricks". For more details, I invite you to consult my guide on how to have invisible blocks in Minecraft.
At this point, I would say that the design is already much better than before, but it is possible to work on it a little more, perhaps with the help of some mod for the Java version of Minecraft per PC. In particular, I would like to advise you to use the mod Aquaculture 2, which by the way is also compatible with the 1.15.2 of the game.
To proceed, you must first configure the profile forge, required to use Minecraft mods. Connect, therefore, to the official Forge portal and press the button Installer, being careful to unload the right version, or one that is compatible with the Aquaculture2 mod (eg 1.15.2).
Now, start the file forge- [versione] -installer.jar obtained, tick the box Install client and press pulsating OK. Perfect, Forge has been successfully installed on your computer.
Once this is done, connect to the CurseForge portal and click on the button Download which is on the right (by selecting the correct version of Minecraft). Subsequently, move / copy the file Aquaculture- [version] .jar in mod folder of Minecraft.
Su Windows, the path to follow is C: Users [username] AppDataRoaming.minecraftmods, while on MacOS is ~ / Library / Application Support / minecraft / mods. Speaking of Windows, you may have to follow my guide on how to view hidden folders to reach the aforementioned path.
Now, open the Minecraft launcher, fai clic sull 'icona della freccia verse il basso on the left, select the profile Forge and press pulsating Play.
Enter, therefore, in a match in Creative mode (maybe in the one where you created the aquarium earlier), press the button E on the keyboard, click the freccia verse destra present in high and selects l 'fishing rod icon (it's top left).
Here you will find all elements added by the mod, which are mainly myriads of new fish to use for your aquarium. By the way, you can already take the relative bucket. Just drag what you want (eg Bucket of Synodontis) into thequick inventory and use it.
For the rest, in addition to varying with the buckets available (for example, there is also the jellyfish, obtainable through the "Bucket of Jellyfish"), you may be interested in putting some Aquatic grass inside the aquarium, in order to embellish it a little more.
Excellent, now you have all the necessary information to be able to create very pleasant aquariums from a design point of view. Obviously, you can use this structure as a base, indulging yourself a bit and creating much larger and more complex aquariums.
