How to build a TNT cannon in Minecraft
There are several steps to be taken to be able to make a TNT cannon in Minecraft: we start with the collection of the necessary materials and we arrive at the actual creation. Below you will find all the details of the case regarding the Java version of Minecraft.
Gather the necessary materials

To build the frame of the cannon, I recommend that you use the Stone, since it is a material that is not too difficult to find. However, if you want to make a truly blast resistant cannon (there is still some TNT inside, better not take any chances), you have to use theobsidian.
To get theobsidian, you must have several buckets of water and pour the latter over the washed, in order to cool it and turn it into obsidian. After that, you can collect this element by using a diamond pickaxe.
Another essential element in the construction of the TNT cannon is the redstone. The latter can be found in mine: just use a pickaxe to collect this resource from the appropriate blocks (it can be recognized by the red elements present on each face of the block). Plus, you'll also need gods redstone repeaters, which are manufactured by joining 2 twist di redstone together with 1 unit of redstone dust e 3 stone blocks.
You will then need one sheet of the same material that you used for the construction of the TNT cannon frame: you can make it by joining 3 stone / obsidian units. To automatically load TNT into the cannon, you will also need to create gods distributors: just join 1 arc, 1 redstone powder e 7 units of crushed stone. Other than that, you need a secchio d'acqua and a button. The latter can simply be a block of any material. Finally, the TNT it can be achieved by joining 5 units of gunpowder e 4 sand units. The latter can be found in desert biomes or near gods waterways, While the gunpowder it is obtained, for example, by defeating i creeper or Witches.
In any case, if you really can't find some material, I suggest you use the online tool Minesearch, which allows you to obtain all the necessary information to create any element inserted within Minecraft.
All you have to do to “exploit” this service is to type the name of the object of your interest in search bar located at the top right and select the outcome most relevant. Once this is done, you just need to write down the combination to create the object that appears on the screen and reproduce it within Minecraft.
How to make a TNT cannon in Minecraft
After explaining to you what materials are needed to build a TNT cannon in Minecraft, I would say that you are ready to take action.
The first thing you need to do is place some stone blocks on the ground, creating a structure 9 × 4.
After that, place gods stone blocks in order to create a large 'U' in the center. Leave the central part of the structure empty, of dimensions 7 x 2.

Mod to create a TNT cannon in Minecraft
Given the popularity of Minecraft, clearly there is a mod made by the community designed precisely to create TNT cannons. The latter is called Myles’ Cannon Mod and I recommend you apply it to the version 1.10.2 of Minecraft.
The first thing you need to do in order to use this mod is to configure the profile forge, which will allow you to manage additional third-party content. To do this, go to the official Forge website and press on version of Minecraft you are using (in the sidebar), reminding you that it must be compatible with the mod.

Then, press the button PLAYS.
Once in the game, possibly in mode Creative, premium pulsating E keyboard, to access theInventory of your character. Now, click on thecompass icon located at the top right and type "cannon".
At this point, you just have to select a Cannon among those present (eg. EF_TNT Cannon), move it to the quick bar inventory and place it on Plot. Of course, you'll need to equip the Cannonball and press on Cannon to make it work.
Perfect, now you can create and use as many TNT cannons as you want!
How to make a TNT cannon in Minecraft PE
For Minecraft PE, as you well know the game is essentially based on the same basics as the PC version and therefore you can actually safely follow the procedure I explained in the chapter on how to create a TNT cannon in Minecraft (the instructions are identical).
The only aspect to take into consideration is the fact that the mod I mentioned in the previous chapter doesn't work on Minecraft PE. Also, I have unfortunately not been able to find a working mod for the latest mobile version of the Mojang title.
