How to build a fridge in Minecraft
If you are wondering how to make the fridge in Minecraft, in the next chapters I will explain in detail how to build this object inside your shelter.
Produce the necessary resources
In order to build a fridge on minecraft, it is important that you first gather all the necessary resources. The project that I will illustrate to you in the next paragraphs consists in the creation of an instrument that can probably resemble a real refrigerator and that, at the same time, can actually cram the objects that you will put inside it.
First, you will need at least 2 Distributor units. This object allows you to keep the objects crammed inside and, at the same time, dispense them outside, if activated. To build one, you need to place it in a workbench 7 units of Crushed Stone, 1 unit of Arco e 1 unit of Redstone Dust.
You can find Redstone Dust by simply digging underground and interacting with a pickaxe on a Rough Redstone Block. You will then have to work the material that you will get inside a furnace, in order to obtain the aforementioned powder. The Crushed stoneinstead, you can collect it by digging the Pietra.
As far as the 'bowFinally, you will have to manufacture it in a workbench. How? Joining 3 units of Staff e 3 units of Lanyard. While to get the Bastone you will have to simply employ 2 units of Wooden Planks; The Lanyard you can find it mainly by defeating spiders or breaking webs.
With that done, you need to build one Iron Gate. In that regard, you need them 6 units of Iron Ingots, which you can get by adding del Raw Iron in a furnace. THE Iron ingots, then, you will have to insert them in a workbench, in order to obtain the Iron Gate.
Finally, you need to get yourself one Leva and Redstone dust. I have already talked about the latter in the previous paragraphs, while the Leva you can make it in a workbench, adding 1 units of Staff e 1 units of Crushed Stone.
Create a fridge in Minecraft
The first thing you need to do for build a fridge on minecraft is to identify the place where you will need to place it. In this regard, I warn you that an area would be appropriate 2 × 2, which will contain both the refrigerator and the mechanism to operate it.
To proceed, first place your avatar with its back to the wall and, leaving a block away from it, place the Iron Gate. It is important to install the door in this way, as, depending on the orientation of the opening, you may find it difficult to continue with the procedures that you will find in the following paragraphs.
Now, place the two dispensatori, which will serve to contain the resources that you will place inside the refrigerator, between the door and the wall. I recommend that you keep the faces of the dispensers facing the door and not against the wall.
Next to the dispenser blocks, add a block of any material: choose one that is white or one that fits the walls or decorations of your shelter. You just have to add some Redstone dust on the block in question and the Leva on its front side.
To stock the refrigerator, interact on the dispensatori and drag items from your inventory to the appropriate slots. Once this is done, you just have to press the lever in order to activate the operating mechanism: the door will open and the dispensers will launch a unit of the resources contained within them directly on the avatar.
Mod to make a fridge on Minecraft
If you want to build a real fridge in Minecraft, all you have to do is use the against. Don't you know what they are? They are add-ons that you can install on the Minecraft client, in order to allow the use of new features created by other users, otherwise not available in this video game.
To install mods on Minecraft, however, you need the add-on Minecraft forge, which allows the implementation of mods in an easy and fast way: I will talk about it, however, better in the next lines. In the meantime, proceed with installing Minecraft forge.
Go to the official Minecraft Forge website and press the button Installer, to download the file .JAR of the program. Then double-click on it, in order to start it with Java, and press the button OK, to complete the procedure.
At this point, what you need to do is download MrCrayfish's Furniture Mod: a mod that allows you to add lots of decorations for your shelter to Minecraft, like a refrigerator. With that said, head over to this mod's official website and click on the version compatible with Minecraft Forge.
After the file .JAR of the mod will have been downloaded, move it inside the folder against, which you find in the path C: Users [name] AppDataRoaming.minecraft. Can't find the folder in question? Don't worry, you can create it very well manually by following the instructions in my guide dedicated to the topic.
Well: we're almost there! A few more steps and you'll have completed setting up Minecraft to use the mod you just installed. Start, therefore, Minecraft and click the icon ▲, located next to the button Play. From the options you see, choose your profile Forge and then click Play.
By joining a game in mode Creative, you will find a new tab in your inventory, called MrCrayfish's Furniture Mod: just scroll through the list and search for the object Fridge (in the most updated versions, the object is called Chiller), to get your fridge. Easier than that?
