Preliminary information

Before going into the details of the procedure on how to make a diamond farm in minecraft, I think it might interest you to know more about this possibility.

Well, as can be seen from the name of the structure, one diamond farm serves to obtain this element in a potentially unlimited way, without having to follow the classic procedures to find diamonds in Minecraft.

Put simply, once you have a working farm, you will no longer need to waste too much time and you can instantly create diamond swords and so on. In short, I fully understand why you want to be able to complete this goal, and in fact I am going to explain how to do it.

In any case, as you can imagine, it is not exactly easy to be able to create a structure of this type. For this reason, I recommend that you stay away from anyone who promises to quickly teach you how to build it within the Survival mode.

In fact, being a community built structure, which actually serves to obtain an object present in the game more quickly, the farm may not always work. In addition, there are several malicious actors online who could exploit this issue to trick the user into installing malware or buying services that are not actually working.

In short, it is better to avoid wasting too much time. If, in fact, as regards, for example, a fishing farm, it is possible to find some valid methods, the situation becomes much more confused as regards the diamond farm (on which everyone obviously points).

In light of what has just been said, in this guide I will only examine the procedures that work without too many problems, leaving aside complex structures with hoppers and redstone, which then in the end turn out to be non-functional or represent a joke.

In short, it seemed right to warn you about the fact that often these constructions, which by the way generally they take a long time to be built, they do not work and, given the many variables involved, I think it is good to use only procedures that are not particularly intricate.

The procedure that I will examine in this guide is valid for both the Java version of Minecraft per PC that for that Bedrock, instead, available for Windows 10, console and mobile devices. In short, you don't have to worry about the platform you are playing from.

For the rest, if you have no problem using against to facilitate the procedure and you would like to keep some gameplay to be able to get the diamonds (in Creative mode just drag them from the inventory), in the final part of this guide I will analyze a mod for the Java version for PC of Minecraft that allows you to save a little time.

How to make a diamond farm in Minecraft

After explaining the general situation to you, I would say that it is time to take action and explain how to actually do it a diamond farm in Minecraft.

As illustrated in the preliminary chapter, I'll stick with it keep away from the making of strange structures made with hoppers and redstone (for completeness of information, I tried to make several before stating this, always with poor results), trying to simplify your life.

For this reason, in this part of the guide I will use a command block, that is an element that allows you to generate other elements and, in fact, can represent, through the right commands, a infinite farm of diamonds.

To proceed from Java version for PC di Minecraft, just enter any game with activated controls, press the button T on the keyboard, type / give [username] minecraft: command_block (for example, / give Zane minecraft: command_block) and give Submit.

As for, however, the Bedrock version of the game for Windows 10, mobile devices and consoles, once you have entered a game with tricks activated, you just need to open the command console (for example, by pressing the chat icon on a smartphone), type / give [username] command_block and confirm.

At this point, place the command block on the ground.

Interact, therefore, with it and, as regards the Java version for PC of the game, type setblock ~ ~ 2 ~ minecraft: diamond_ore destroy. As regards, however, the Bedrock version, the command is setblock ~ ~ 2 ~ diamond_ore 0 destroy.

In any case, in the version Java it is necessary to set i three buttons present at the bottom of On repeat, Not conditional e Always active, then pressing the key Done. In the version Bedrockinstead, the options are repetition, Unconditional e Always Active.

That way, they will come continuously generated diamonds a little higher than the command block and you can collect as many as you like. Only one thing: the diamond farm will continue to create items and therefore it may slow down the game. Also, in the Java version it may continue to send you alerts regarding the fact that the blocks have been changed (or something similar).

For this reason, as soon as you have collected enough diamonds, I recommend that you interact with the command block and, in the Java version, set the last button on the right to Serve redstone (or Pietrarossa necessary, in the Bedrock edition).

In this way, you will stop the generation of new diamonds. You can then turn the farm back on whenever you want using a redstone block or by returning to the previous setting. Well, now you know how to have infinite diamonds in minecraft, among other things without using mods and without going through complex structures.

For the rest, I remind you that possibly in the Creative mode you already have all the items you need in the inventory, so playing that way you can get infinite diamonds simply by placing them in the quick slots.

Mod to make a diamond farm in Minecraft

How do you say? Do you like "working" diamonds but would you simply like to have some facilities that allow you to enjoy the game a little more? No problem, I'll explain immediately what you can do, going through one against call Diamond Farm.

The latter is only available for the Java version 1.11.2 of Minecraft (if you don't meet this requirement, you can refer to my tutorial on how to change Minecraft version).

To install the mods, I remind you that you need to have the appropriate one profile forge. If you've already installed community-made content in the past, you surely already know how. Alternatively, I recommend that you refer to my guide on how to install Minecraft Forge.

In any case, the mod can be obtained by connecting to the PlanetMinecraft website and pressing the button DOWNLOAD MOD. By doing so, you will have the file available diamondfarm- [version] .zip: extracting the latter, you will get the DiamondFarm- [version] .jar.

This file goes moved / copied in mod folder of Minecraft. On Windows the latter is located in the path C: Users [username] AppDataRoaming.minecraftmods, while as regards MacOS you need to go to ~ / Library / Application Support / minecraft / mods. Small note: as far as Windows is concerned, you may need to follow my guide on how to view hidden folders.

At this point, start the Minecraft launcher, select the correct one profile forge from the appropriate box, located at the bottom left, and press the button PLAYS, centrally located. Then start a game in Creative mode e premium pulsating E of the keyboard, in order to open theInventory.

Move, therefore, to one of the quick slots of your character, a diamond pickaxe.

Dopodiché, award the space bar twice, so as to do fly your character, and look for some blue and purple areas, or those added by mod. The contrast is evident, so you certainly won't struggle to find them.

At this point, makes the earth, premium pulsating T on the keyboard, type the command / gamemode survival and go Submit, so go in Survival mode.

Perfect, now use the pickaxe to break i blocks of blue grass present on the ground, indicated by the game as Rich Grass.

After that, press the button T on the keyboard, type the command / gamemode creative and give Submit, in order to return to the Creative mode.

Then press the button E of the keyboard, by opening theInventory, and drag one furnace and carbon nello fast slot of your character.

After that, place one furnace on the ground, interact with it and position high 2 units of Rich Grass, while the Coal. By doing so, you will get Raw Diamonds.

This object is the equivalent of rough diamond blocks and can be used to obtain "real" diamonds in a simple way. In fact, you just need to use a workbench and fill all slots us Raw Diamonds to obtain 2 diamonds.

Perfect, now you know how to potentially have an infinite number of diamonds, since you have built a kind of farm. This time, however, it is not something automatic as in the previous chapter, but an additional mechanic that simplifies the gameplay a bit but allows you to continue "crafting" diamonds (useful if you like to do it but you are tired of the classic modes).

For the rest, obviously in this part of the tutorial I made various changes in terms of how to quickly explain the concept to you, but potentially with this mod you can do everything in Survival mode, building the necessary items and enjoying the continuation of Minecraft.

In short, now you know the main methods to quickly obtain diamonds within the Mojang title. To conclude, since you are a fan of this game, I would recommend that you take a look at the page of my site dedicated to Minecraft, where you can find many other guides that could be for you.
