How to breathe underwater in Minecraft

Underwater exploration in Minecraft is an activity that can be very profitable, as it allows you to find lots of hidden treasures and get very useful items. For example, in the depths you can find ruins or wrecks, which hide trunks, inside which there can be precious as well as unique objects.

This operation, however, is limited, since the avatar has only a few seconds available, about twenty, before it begins to lose health points, forcing the player to rise to the surface.

Although this time may seem sufficient, you must also consider that, as you go deeper and deeper, you have less visibility and are forced to take more time to orient yourself and get an idea of the surrounding environment.

For this reason, what you will have to do is follow the instructions that I will give you in the next chapters, in order to be able to extend your stay underwater, without any risk.

Obviously you will have to get several materials and suitable tools to create this potion: I will provide you with all the information you need in the next paragraphs.

First, you need to build a Still, an essential item for crafting potions. To make one, you need it 1 unit of Rod of Blaze e 3 units of Crushed Stone, to be placed on a workbench. There Rod of Blaze you can find it by defeating the Blaze, of the creatures you find in the Nether.

Next, you will need some Ampoules, which will contain the potion you are about to create. This item can be easily obtained by putting together 3 unit of Glass in a bank gives lavoro. Not sure where to find glass? I told you about it in detail in this guide of mine.

At this point, you have to fill the ampoules with water: you can do this simply by interacting with them on the surface of a block of water or by using a Cauldron, previously filled with this liquid with the help of a Bucket.

Now that you've got theCruet of water, you must place it inside theStill, in one of the three slots reserved for this object, which you find on its screen. To activate the reaction, you need a reagent and a fuel.

As for the latter, you need to get the Blaze powder, which you can easily obtain by dismantling, in a workbench, a Rod of Blaze. As a reagent, however, you must use the Nether's Verruca. As you can well guess, it is an object that you find in the Nether: to be exact it is a plant that you can easily identify in this place.

By joining a Nether's Verruca together with aCruet of water, you will make one Strange Potion. This potion is the basis for obtaining one Potion of Aquatic Breathing. Therefore, leaving the Strange location inside theStill, use the top slot of this to add a Puffer fish as a reagent. You can find these cute little fish in the ocean.

Another solution that you can put into practice is to use the bonus Conducted Energy, which you can obtain by building a specific structure in the seabed. You must know, in fact, that there is an object, called Conducted, which applies this bonus to the nearby player, ensuring they can breathe and see better underwater, as well as being able to dig faster.

To use the bonus Conducted Energy, you must first have among the 16 and 42 blocks of Prismarino, a material found near ocean ruins, and a Conducted. The latter is obtained in a workbench, joining 1 unit of Heart of the Sea e 8 units of Nautilus Shells.

As regards the Heart of the Sea, this can rarely be found in trunks buried in the ocean, while the Nautilus shells obtained from fishing, from zombies in the water, or by exchanging them for emeralds from a wandering trader.

Once you get the Conducted, you have to build the structure to activate the bonus Conducted Energy. As I told you, you need a variable number of Prismarino blocks, as this bonus can be applied 16 blocks away for every 7 blocks used in the structure. You can, therefore, get a bonus that covers up to 96 blocks away.

First, place 9 units of blocks on the backdrop, in order to create a cross. Once this is done, place at the ends 1 block unit on each. At this point, place a square structure on the next higher level, consisting of 16 blocks.
