Before going into the details of the procedure on how to become a mob on minecraft, I think it might interest you to know more about this possibility.
Well, the Mob are nothing more than the characters present within the Mojang title with which the player cannot interact, if not by defeating them. In other words, generally the term "Mob" does not refer to NPCs (the classic non-player characters), but to enemies and animals controlled by artificial intelligence found around the map. To be clear: they are Mob characters like i Creeper and animals like i horses.
As easily understood, the basic version of Minecraft does not allow you to take control of enemies and animals, since this would "break" the adventure. Think Survival mode - becoming the enemy or an animal would potentially allow you to survive forever, as no one will attack you.
In any case, since Mojang's title is highly customizable, there are various possibilities to achieve this goal, with or without against (i.e. changes to game files created by the community).
The method that does not involve the use of mod is valid for both version Minecraft Java for PC both for that Bedrock, available for Windows 10, mobile devices and consoles, while in the case of the procedure with against you must have theJava edition for PC of the game.
In short, I'm sure that by continuing to read the tutorial you will be able to find what is right for you and play as your favorite Mob, whether it be a fox or the iconic Ender Dragon (on the other hand, who has never wanted to "impersonate him"?).
How to become a Mob in Minecraft
After explaining the general situation to you, I'd say it's time to take action and actually see how to play as a Mob in Minecraft. Below you can find all the indications of the case, both without mod and with an active mod.
How to become a Mob on Minecraft without mods
If you don't want to use mods, the easiest way to make your character a Mob is to take advantage of the change skin.
Put simply, both the Java for PC version of Minecraft and the Bedrock version for Windows 10, mobile devices and consoles allow you to change your character's costume. This action does not change the gameplay, but if you just want to have the look of a Mob, this is an interesting option.
Starting from Java version for PC, if you want to have the skin of, for example, a Creeper, just connect to the Minecraft Skins website, type “creeper” in the search bar at the top, select the Costumes that you think more valid (they are created by the community) and press the button Download present on the right. In some cases you may be asked to skip advertisements by pressing outside the “pop-up” box (and not on any buttons with “Close” text).
By doing so, you will get the PNG file of the skin. To apply the latter, just start the Minecraft launcher, click the tab Skinat the top, press the button New skin, give a name to the costume, choose the model of playing (if Classic or Lean), press the key Shop by Department and select the fillet just got it.
You just have to press the button Save and use to apply the skin. In case some parts of the character's body are black, I suggest you choose another costume, as unfortunately some users try to recreate the size of the Mob, which are sometimes smaller than those of the player, but Minecraft automatically covers the missing areas, nullifying the transparency of the PNG.
For the rest, I remind you that once entered any Partita, just press the button F5 on the keyboard to activate the third person mode (two presses to see the face) and take a full look at the skin you applied.
As for, however, the Bedrock version of the game, the procedure is a little different. In fact, in this case, for security reasons, I do not recommend the use of external files. Put simply, I invite you to use only the official digital store present within the game.
To access the latter, just open Minecraft e premere sul pulsating Marketplace. Within the latter there are many available skin, so you just have to look for the one that suits your purpose.
If you want something free, what comes closest to your goal is probably the Blockheads mod. The latter in fact adds skins that have heads related to mobs, more precisely ai Creeper.
To install this content, once you reach the right page, just press the button Free and in no time his quello Equip the skin. After that, go back to main menu of the game, press the button Profile, quindi quello CHANGE CHARACTER, select the scheda Classic skins e premi sull'opzione Property.
At this point, you will find all the skin added by the Blockheads mod. You just have to click on the box Creeper costume And that's it. After that, entering any Partita, you will see that your character will have a look similar to that of a Mob.
For the rest, obviously the in-game store offers many other possibilities in this sense, either paid and free. For example, at € 1,29 there is the Creature Style mod, which may be of particular interest to you. All you have to do, therefore, is to carry out all the necessary research and understand which mod you like best.
For more details on the procedures in this chapter, you can refer to my guide on how to change skins in Minecraft, in which I went into further detail on the matter.
For the sake of completeness, you should also know that, over the years, the community has also managed to find another way to make their character a Mob. without using mod.
This method is to use the Command Block object, combining various "tricks" to be able to make invisible to the player, teleport a Mob in the right position e take control of it.
It seemed right to inform you about this possibility, but it must be said that often the procedure is complicated and does not always work, also based on the version of Minecraft used. In short, you could waste time using that method and it probably won't be worth it, but at least now you also know this "trick" unearthed by the community.
How to become a Mob on Minecraft with mod
How do you say? You have the Java version for PC di Minecraft and would you like to actually control mobs? No problem: you can easily do it via the mod Changeling, compatible with versions 1.12.2 e 1.10.2 of the game.
Before proceeding, I remind you that to use this content created by fans you must have the profile forge. The latter can be downloaded by connecting to the appropriate website, choosing the right one Minecraft version from the list on the left and clicking on the button Installer.
After that, you may be prompted to click the button Skip, usually present at the top right, as well as on the key Preserve, to get the file forge- [version] .jar. Once you have started the latter, you just have to tick the box Install Client and click the button OK, to end the procedure.
If you have any doubts, you can refer to my tutorial on how to install Forge. If, on the other hand, you do not meet the requirements for using the mod, I suggest you take a look at the guide on how to change the version of Minecraft.
At this point, connected to the CurseForge page dedicated to the Changeling mod and click on the button Download, present on the right, next to the version of the game correct. By doing so, you will get the changeling-[versione].jar.
To make the mod work, you need to install the tool DominionLib. You can download the latter from the appropriate CurseForge page, always by pressing the button Download. By doing so, you will get the dominionlib- [version] .jar.
Now, move / copy the 2 JAR files in mod folder of Minecraft. I remind you about that Windows the path to follow is usually C: Users [username] AppDataRoaming.minecraftmods, while on MacOS you need to reach ~ / Library / Application Support / minecraft / mods. In any case, as far as the Windows relative path is concerned, you may have to follow my guide on how to view hidden folders to achieve your goal.
Successively, apri il Minecraft launcher, tap on profile pane (present at the bottom left) and select the version of Forge correct, then clicking the button PLAYS. Once entered the game in Creative mode, you just have to press the button E on the keyboard, select one Diamond sword and move it toquick inventory.
At this point, you can use, for example, a Creeper egg to generate a Mob of this type e defeat him in no time at all with the sword. You will see that he will leave his on the ground skin: it will be enough for you get over it to get it. You can of course do this with any Mob.
Now, press the button B of the keyboard, so take a look at the skin that you have collected, click on the checkbox Mobile phone number you want to impersonate and press the button Morph, present at the top right.
In this way, you will actually become the Mob you defeated and you can play in his shoes. I remind you that just press the button F5 on the keyboard to activate the third person view. For the rest, in addition to this possibility, by pressing the key B and scrolling down, you will see that many more are available skin.
Among the first costumes available there is obviously also theEnderdrago, which I highly recommend you try. Just select the appropriate one Costumes and press the button Morph. In case the game warns you that there is not enough space to transform, I advise you to press the space bar twice, so as to do fly your character, and move to one empty area.
Perfect, now you know everything about making your character a Mob within Minecraft, including the ability to fly over the map as the Ender Dragon.
How to make a Mob in Minecraft
How did you say? Vorresti create a certain Mob within the game world, but without "impersonating" it (perhaps to face it)? No problem, I'll explain immediately what you can do!
In this case, some users have decided to build a certain structure, called Mob Spawner, designed to try to do generate enemies inside. By doing so, you can then either address them or find a method for drop them from above, so you get theirs drop (the "reward" items).
For the rest, if you have no problems "cheating", you just need to enter Creative mode, access theInventory (by pressing, for example, the button E on PC) and use the eggs related to Mob, to create them.
Alternatively, in a game with active controls, you can take advantage of the latter. To give you a concrete example, inJava edition of Minecraft just press the button T on your keyboard, type the command / summon [Mob name] (for example, / summon minecraft: ender_dragon) and press Submit.
For the rest, if you have the Java version for PC of the game, I recommend that you consult my guide on how to create a Mob Spawner in Minecraft, in which I went into detail about other possibilities as well. In particular, I concretely illustrated how to use a against to have a certain Mob spawn quickly.
In any case, since you usually play the Mojang title, I would like to advise you to consult the page of my site dedicated to Minecraft. In fact, in the latter you can find many other tutorials that could be for you.How to become a Mob on Minecraft
